The Conjuring is a 2013 American supernatural horror
film directed by James Wan. The film
is based on a true story, and follows paranormal
investigators who come to the assistance of the Perron
family, who are experiencing
increasingly disturbing events in their farmhouse in Harrisville,
Rhode Island in 1971.
